Experience

Asia Centre for Health Security, NUSAug 2024 – Present

Conducting a scoping review and qualitative interview study focused on One Health capacity building for a project led by Dr. Alvin Chua.
Led the Commission’s Singapore country case study end-to-end, conducting 40 in-depth interviews with policymakers, civil society, academia and community groups, from IRB approval through to analysis and write-up.
Co-authored the Commission’s final report, contributing to the cross-country analysis across 20 country studies and to addressing peer reviewer comments through to publication.
Co-developed the Commission’s qualitative research protocols for a community-informed, whole-of-society analysis of national COVID-19 responses and current pandemic preparedness efforts, implemented across 20 countries.
Served as the Commission’s focal point for partner country teams (Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos), advising on protocol adaptations and leading regular check-ins to ensure cross-country alignment and adherence to timelines.
Supported the coordination of virtual and in-person high-level meetings in Spain and Singapore convening Commissioners and country coordinators from 20 countries.

Coordinated projects across UK and APAC teams valued at approximately S$100k each, achieving an average client satisfaction level of 9.8/10.
Designed and delivered SLRs evaluating clinical, economic and real-world evidence. Synthesised findings into reports to inform client market access strategies across disease areas and therapeutic products.
Supported cost-effectiveness model adaptations to estimate the economic value of pharmaceutical products in high-income and low- and middle-income (LMIC) settings to inform HTA submissions and client market access strategies.
Developed HTA dossiers for novel drug therapies and vaccines that supported assessments of treatments impacting over 2 million patients in Singapore and the UK.
Developed slide sets, dossiers and reports that demonstrated the clinical and economic value of medicinal products to healthcare payers, healthcare professionals and patients.

Led a scoping review of the influence of global governance architecture and key players on global vaccine equity during the COVID-19 pandemic with Prof. Natasha Howard.
Led a social network analysis of AMR experts to inform regional AMR policy in Asia with Prof. Helena Legido-Quigley and Prof. Adam Henry.
Conducted epidemiological analyses of vaccine hesitancy among university students and HIV/AIDS testing in Myanmar to inform HIV testing policy with Prof. Clarence Tam.
Evaluated Singapore’s COVID-19 pandemic risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) strategies through focus group discussions with Prof. Helena Legido-Quigley.
